A AMU \u2013 A\u00e7\u00f5es para um Mundo Unido \u00e9 uma associa\u00e7\u00e3o privada, sem fins lucrativos, nascida em 1994 em Lisboa. Tem por objectivo contribuir para a realiza\u00e7\u00e3o de um mundo mais unido, em que cada indiv\u00edduo e cada povo possam exprimir e desenvolver plenamente a sua identidade.<\/span><\/p>\n

Na sua atividade, a AMU tem procurado responder aos novos desafios de uma sociedade que sente as consequ\u00eancias de uma economia nacional e internacional em dificuldades. Atrav\u00e9s de projetos nacionais e internacionais, a AMU procura envolver o maior n\u00famero poss\u00edvel de parceiros em a\u00e7\u00f5es concretas. A AMU \u00e9 simultaneamente uma Institui\u00e7\u00e3o Privada de Solidariedade Social (IPSS) e uma Organiza\u00e7\u00e3o N\u00e3o Governamental para o Desenvolvimento (ONGD). A linha de actua\u00e7\u00e3o da AMU na \u00e1rea da coopera\u00e7\u00e3o tem procurado ser consonante com os \u201cObjectivos de Desenvolvimento Sustent\u00e1vel\u201d (ODS), definidos pelas Na\u00e7\u00f5es Unidas em 2015. O objetivo principal da AMU \u00e9 contribuir para a constru\u00e7\u00e3o de um Mundo Unido. Este \u00e9 um objetivo pelo qual todos podemos trabalhar.
